Great ES lecture!

Hi, ES students –

Please see below.  Mike Tidwell is very well respected, and I think you will enjoy his talk.

The Eisenhower Institute is pleased to announce that Mike Tidwell, Executive Director of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network, will present a talk on Tuesday, February 1st.  His topic will be: “We Are All From New Orleans: Global Warming in the 21st Century.”

Author and filmmaker Mike Tidwell predicted in vivid detail the Katrina hurricane disaster in

his award-winning 2003 book Bayou Farewell: The Rich Life and Tragic Death of Louisiana’s

Cajun Coast. Tidwell has won four Lowell Thomas awards, the highest prize in American travel

journalism, and is a former grantee of the National Endowment for the Arts.

            Take care! – John
