Hi, ES folks –
ES major Autumn Arthur has just been hired as the Assistant Programs and Events Coordinator at the Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve! She had been working there part-time, but now Autumn will be both a full-time employee and a full-time student. Crazy nut!
The Assistant Programs and Events Coordinator is responsible for the evaluation and revision of public and private environmental education and recreation programs, the recommendation and design of new programs and events, communication with members of the public, planning and management of summer camp activities and staff, management of the nature center and nature center staff, and conducting staff training. Additional duties include assisting with budgetary tracking, the creation of marketing materials, seeking grants and other sources of funding, and other duties as assigned.
