ES Prof Sarah Principato receives the Dutton Mentorship Award

ES Prof Sarah Principato was awarded the Robert E. Dutton Memorial Mentorship Award for the 2015-16 academic year.

The award is presented annually to a Gettysburg College faculty member nominated by the campus community for excellence in advising and mentoring of students.

The attached photo shows Sarah going to receive the award from the Provost at Spring Honors Day. Congratulations Sarah!

Prof. Randy Wilson Gives Invited Talk at Ohio University

ES Professor Randy Wilson was invited to present a research talk entitled “Yellowstone: Using Place Theory to Understand the Evolution of a National Icon” on December 2, 2016 as part of the Department of Geography Colloquia Series at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. The talk explored various aspects of his current research project on Yellowstone National Park.
